Kitchen & Bathroom Plumbing

Completing a full kitchen or bathroom renovation is an expensive task but the end result will be well worth the effort once complete. Some of us are happy with the existing layout of our bathroom or kitchen and just want a new modern space to freshen up the home.  This is a great way to keep the plumbing and electrical costs to a minimum by avoiding the need to re-configure services to other areas.

For those of us who have decided to extend a room or change the entire layout, you will need to be mindful of the additional costs involved to install new electrical cabling and plumbing to the area.  Depending on the amount of work involved it can take several days for each tradesman to complete the installation work resulting in additional cost to your project.

When you are designing your new space think about whether you need to completely re-design the whole room or whether you can keep the plumbing on the same wall or a toilet in the same position. The same applies to the electrical wiring in consideration to your oven and stovetop.

If you are looking for ways to save money and time on a bathroom or kitchen project you should take a good look at your design and see if you can use some or all of the existing layout.

Sometimes the advantages of re-configuring the entire room can outweigh the extra cost, especially if you are planning to stay in the home long term.

It all comes down to your budget and what you are willing to compromise to keep the costs down!
